Welcome to my website! I am a Professor of Finance at the Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium. My research focuses on macro-finance modeling, in particular the interactions between the yield curve and the macroeconomy. I obtained my Ph.D. from the KULeuven, Belgium.

News

March 2024: I gave a guest lecture on "monetary policy and climate change" at the University of Calabria on the occasion of the "Giornata Nazionale delle Universita".  

March 2024: I participated in a live talk on "Sustainability and credit risk" organized by CreditSafe Italia. Moderator: Roberto Rasia dal Polo

December 2023: I presented the work on Uncertainty and Stock Returns, jointly with Kristien Smedts (KULeuven) and Phuong Thao Nguyen (KULeuven), at the University of Calabria.  

November 2023: I presented the work on Inflation Risk Premia, jointly with Boeckx Jef (National Bank of Belgium) and Joris Wauters (National Bank of Belgium), at the 12th Term Structure Workshop of the Bundesbank.  Here is the program. The discussant was Sarah Mouabbi

June 2023: The 7th edition of the Society of Financial Econometrics school, Brussels, was held at the National Bank of Belgium. A few numbers: 50+ participants from 10+ nationalities, 9 presentations from participants, 15h of lectures from Glenn Rudebusch and Michael Bauer.
